Sam Renick

Director of SOFTWARE engineering

Sam joined Courier Express in 2015 as a systems developer in research and development. With prior work experience in transportation and warehouse management systems, he moved to the engineering department, where in conjunction with Courier Express's research and development team, he was instrumental in the design and deployment of key proprietary delivery applications. He was named director of engineering in 2020.

 Sam graduated from Shorter College with a B.A. in English, an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University, and an M.S. in computer science from Georgia Southern. Happily married and the father of two boys, he enjoys camping with his family and spends a few days hiking the Appalachian Trail every year. He also enjoys running and would like to complete a marathon someday.
